As the Executive Director of Belmont Village Fort Lauderdale you will oversee the operation of our newly constructed senior living community including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Create and maintain high level of resident and employee satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Manages community employees: * ensures adequate staffing including development of employee schedules and hiring decisions * conducts performance appraisals of staff * builds positive employee relationships, apply company policy in a fair and consistent manner * carries out disciplinary actions and dismissal of employees as necessary * implements ongoing employee appreciation and recognition programs * Ensures continuity and consistency of community operation in delivery and quality of service * Ensures compliance with regulations, policies and procedures * Ensures high degree of resident satisfaction: * assures that residents’ individual service plans are timely completed, and arranges services and support to meet resident needs * provides assistance for residents to access community-based services * implements approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence * coordinates details related to move-ins and move-outs * initiates resident/ family conference if change of service level is required * Leads sales initiatives by participation in industry group and community functions. * Networks with local groups to generate awareness for Belmont Village. * Provides input for development of community’s operating budget and manage for compliance * Maintains operations in a 24 hour schedule SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * This position supervises all Community personnel. REQUIREMENTS: * Current state administrator license, as applicable. * Associates Degree * Minimum of 2 years management experience in the healthcare field * Proficient in written and verbal English * Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment of working with people * Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24 hour operation PREFERENCES: * Bachelor’s Degree * Assisted Living and Memory Care Experience IND200 #MON #gd Belmont Village is a Houston-based developer, owner and operator of leading, high-end senior living communities.
