Job Description

American Health Network is seeking a strategic, motivated, and reliable Practice Manager to run a primary care practice. This person will be responsible for managing the daily operations and supervision of employees.

Duties:
  • Serves as a liaison between providers, employees, executive director, and corporate service office
  • Daily office management and supervision of employees
  • Develops and maintain all practice policies and procedures
  • Provides orientation, education, and re-education as needed for employees
  • Approves time and attendance for payroll
  • Processes accounts payable
  • Office and medical supply management with adherence to organization's purchasing guidelines
  • Maintain provider credentialing  
  • Compliance and privacy audits
  • Operational reporting
  • New Initiative Implementation
  • Operational Expense Control
  • Addresses patient and office issues
  • Manages provider office visit templates
  • Assists billing department with billing and coding audits

Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Management/related health field AND/OR a minimum of 2 years of medical management experience
  • Must be proficient in personnel management
  • Must be knowledgeable in HR management
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, identify and resolve issues
  • Must be comfortable using MS Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Prefer someone with EHR experience; NextGen experience a plus
  • MA Certification not mandatory, but a positive
