Job Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for providing housekeeping services for the interior of all buildings within the Good Shepherd network. Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas as scheduled and uses proper procedures, as trained. Duties include, but are not limited to general cleaning and damp wiping of rooms and offices, dry and wet mops rooms and offices, vacuums carpets in lounges, offices and entrances, cleans bathrooms and showers in patient, staff and public areas, replenishes paper and soap supplies in rooms and cleaning/making beds upon patient discharge.
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and 6 months or more of relevant housekeeping experience preferred.
