Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated Behavioral Health care team providing psychiatric services via video teleconference and onsite at St. Mary's in Lewiston, ME.
· Graduation from a state certified advance practice program specializing in a psychiatry/mental health;
· ANCC certification in one of the following areas:
o Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
o Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
o Family Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
· An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
· An unrestricted DEA registration.
· A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
· Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
· No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).
· 2 years providing direct patient care for psychiatric disorders is preferred.
