Job Description


The successful candidate will responsible for managing Medicaid billings for our 14 skilled nursing communities in Illinois and Missouri. A particular emphasis will be on monitoring applications for Medicaid benefits by our residents, assisting them to complete that process timely, and ensuring that revenue from these residents is collected. Prior experience with Medicaid billings, especially in Illinois, is highly preferred. Candidates who are dependable, self-sufficient and can readily multi-task are sought.


Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

Private pay billing and collections.
Phone contact with residents and family members regarding out of pocket expenses.
Responsible for calling on outstanding private pay accounts with extensive follow up.
Perform private pay account research and reconciliation, using appropriate software.
Partner with collections Supervisor to ensure timely collection of private pay account.
Tracking of applicable paperwork due from facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Experience with Illinois Medicaid and the REV System is required.
Experience with SNF/LTC required.
Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
