Job Description

Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center has a full-time opening for an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner (NP) with First Assist. This opening is for a busy and expanding Orthopedic practice specializing in Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle Surgery, as well as Joint Reconstruction.

The NP must be certified and licensed with the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine or able to obtain licensure. New grads are welcome to apply!

The job responsibilities include a variety of clinical and surgical duties, including pre- and post-operative evaluation, triage of known patients, surgical first assist, rounding on hospital patients, patient education and communication with families, program development. Appropriate documentation of services provided, including but not limited to office visits, H&P's.
