Network Telecom Analyst I
Full Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p)
The Network Telecom Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the effective planning, provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, optimization and maintenance of systems within the network and telecom infrastructures. They participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation with the infrastructures. They schedule and perform maintenance and upgrades to network and telecom systems in order to maintain system efficiency. The Network Telecom Analyst I assists in maintaining network and telecom infrastructure integrity by using appropriate software and hardware solutions. They perform audits of the hardware/software to ensure compliance with the organizational guidelines. They keep a database/library of all supporting documentation for hardware and software. The Network Telecom Analyst I seeks to ensure that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the network and telecom infrastructure he or she manages meet the needs of the organization, without exceeding the budget or timelines. To meet these needs, the Network Telecom Analyst I may acquire, install, or upgrade computer and telecom components and software, provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, train staff, acquire knowledge, develop supporting skill-set and provide technical support in projects.
Associate's degree in Computer Science or related technology field required. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional I.T. technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant it applying.
Three years in network/telecom technical experience required. Five years experience of network/telecom technical experience can be substituted for degree requirements.
Certification in Cisco is highly desirable.
