Position Summary:


The Patient Access Representative will register patients in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner.  They ensure all necessary demographic and financial data obtained and accurately enter into the registration system. They are responsible for verifying insurance, collecting copays and deductibles, and assisting patients with general questions. They will be able to multitask and work independently within multiple programs in an ever changing environment.





Required Education/Qualifications:





  • Highschool/GED

  • Computer skills

  • Excellent customer service skills




Preferred Education/Qualifications:





  • Insurance billing experience

  • Admitting experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
