Job Description

Glendale Adventist Medical Center (GAMC) is a 515-bed hospital built on the Seventh-day Adventist faith and mission to improve the health of communities and to share God's love by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the safe, timely transportation to and from in-patient care units and the Cancer Center
utilizing a Patient Transportation vehicle. Also provide in-patient unit transportation as an Escort when
needed. See Escort job description for additional duties.


  • High school diploma with certification of completion from an accredited EMT-1 program preferred.

  • On-the-job training in the Emergency Department.

  • Six months total experience as an Emergency Department Technician or Acute Care Facility Nursing Assistant.

  • Emergency Medical Technician I (EMT I) certification preferred.
