Responsible for operation of the Echocardiography Lab and support of Stress Lab. Utilizes proper sonographic technique in conjunction with departmental protocols to demonstrate pertinent patient anatomy and pathology to assist the physician in interpretation. The technician is responsible for performance of all cardiac and neonate cranial studies and clerical functions associated with preparation of data for physician interpretation and reporting to the medical record.
Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Must be a graduate of a School of Diagnostic Ultrasound. Registered ARDMS(RDCS) or CCI(RCS).
License / Certification required: Registered ARDMS(RDCS) or CCI(RCS).
