Provides leadership and management of the day to day operations of areas that include clinical and/or financial application support and development teams, web development team, training, workflow and support teams as required. Position includes responsibility for assigned application strategic planning and tactical implementation, scope, cost, and scheduling coordination. Responsible for following project methodologies that support the strategic vision of the IS department and hospital enterprise based on direction from the CIO. Provide viewpoint to CIO when contributing to the development of the strategic vision of the IS department within the hospital. Required to interface with core vendor engagement managers assigned to CAMC for all application issues requiring vendor intervention or assistance.
Specialized Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Degree / Education
Bachelor’s in Health Information Management, Informatics, Business, Nursing or related field.
Masters Degree preferred.
Level of Experience
6 years information systems direct application management experience with at least 4 years in a healthcare environment and/or 3 years of direct personnel management.
All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
