Cedarbrook of Bloomfield Hills is a rental continuing care retirement community in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This 142-unit community offers independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing home. Cedarbrook Senior Living is looking for Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. The position would be to oversee the care within the Assisted living and Memory Care portion of our community and report directly to our Director of Nursing and Executive Director.

Essential Position Functions:

* Build relationships with residents and families
* Clearly communicate with residents, families and staff
* Be caring and compassionate
* Customer service oriented
* Perform assessments of future and existing residents
* Developed detailed care plans
* Utilize electronic health record and EMAR systems
* Monitor and Check physician orders
* Distributes medication, maintains narcotic records, and resident records
* Coordinate and Perform orientation and training of the care team
* Perform in-service training
* Provides direction and supervision of the care team
* Scheduling of staff for all care shifts
* Report changes in condition to physician and other appropriate parties in a timely manner
* Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures
* Understand and comply with policies and procedures
* Effective oral and written communication
* Participate in required on-line and in-service training
* Collaborate with the Medical Director and other professional service providers
* Works well in multi-disciplinary environment
* 24/7 on call for staff, resident and community needs
* Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements


* Registered Nurse in good standing (MI)
* Bachelor Degree in Nursing or related field
* Minimum 3-5 years of senior living and/or nursing home experience
* Strong computer aptitude
* Service and Hospitality oriented
* Drug and background checks required
* References required
