As the Billing Specialist you will assist the Business Office in the day-to-day business office functions of the facility in accordance with current billing and reimbursement rules and regulations relating to long-term care.

Responsibilities include:

* Medicare, Managed Care, and Co-insurance billing, following up on unpaid claims, perform billing corrections, posting contractual adjustments, participate and contribute to monthly A/R reviews, following up on Medicaid Co-insurance billing, daily check deposits, ordering office supplies, assist with Resident Trust fund transactions, and other duties as directed.

* High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in long-term care billing required. Experience in health care accounting preferred but not required. Team player and can-do attitude are a must!
