Medication Support Specialist — Adults
Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Medication Support Specialist to join our talented multi-disciplinary team in our Community Support Program working with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.
As a Riverbend Medication Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be providing community-based medication support services designed to promote independence in the community. Other responsibilities include the provision of community-based functional support services and limited case management. Applicants must be flexible and comfortable working with a variety of challenges. This is a great opportunity to work on the front lines of community-based mental health services and support our clients to achieve optimal recovery. Team members have opportunities for professional growth, training and exposure to evidence-based practices. The anticipated hours will be 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. There is a shift differential for hours worked after 3PM.
Help clients to understand medications and side effects
Work with treatment team to facilitate case coordination and information sharing
Provision of education regarding mental illness
Work with clients to build symptom management skills and recovery strategies
Promote effective utilization of clinical resources and other social supports
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Rehabilitation, or Human Services is required.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills required.
A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.
