*This position will work every other Friday as well as another weekday shift on the opposite week. This position will also cover open shifts when needed.
Responsible for providing receptionist, clerical and typing support to the Respiratory/Neurodiagnostic section with the established policies and procedures. Implements and abides by customer service standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Post high school secretarial training preferred.

Post high school secretarial training with one year experience or equivalent knowledge/skills preferred. Must demonstrate excellent communicative skills, a high degree of accuracy and professional attitude at all times. Typing ability of 50 wpm required. Medical terminology background preferred. Proficient in the use of electronic typing systems, multi-phone systems, dictation equipment and computer terminology. Ability to compose letters, computer daily charges, statistical reports, and spelling proficiency. Must be flexible with department scheduling.
