The primary function of the Lead Educator includes coordination, development and delivery of educational programs for all hospital staff. This position acts as a resource person to management and hospital staff in developing educational programs throughout the hospital, orients nursing employees, as well as improves the job skills and develops the potential capabilities of all hospital staff. The Lead Educator provides supervision of Educators within Nursing Administration and coordinates with Nursing unit Educators.
Bachelors in Nursing or Education required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Education preferred.
Active NYS RN licensure required.
