Individual is certified and trained in two or more radiological specialties. These Imaging Services personnel are responsible for the provision of quality diagnostic, fluoroscopic, interventional, CT, NM and/or US procedures through direct patient contact The Multi Modality Technologist is expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical ability, intellectual development, psychosocial, education, and safety needs of the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in Radiology.
Multi-Modality Tech Position Qualifications: Student enrolled in an approved Imaging Services Technology program or successful completion of an approved curriculum in Radiologic Technology culminating in the awarding of a diploma, A.S. or B.S. degree. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)(CT)(N) in the fields of Radiography, CT Registry eligible. All required to become Registered within 1 year of date of hire.
