This position is for PRN- Night Shift. The PRN RN provides supplemental visits to support the Case Management RN following the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care. The RN resolves crisis intervention; pain control; may support the family and pronounce patient deaths; communicate patient changes to the team; obtain new orders from the hospice physician; and clinically documents into the EMR the patient visits at the end of each visit. The PRN RN is responsible for being available to be proper orientated and trained and follows through with all required continuing education; Relias Education modules; mandatory in-services/meetings; clinical skills labs; department meetings and others as required. All care is provided under organizational policies and procedures and Joint Commission Guidelines.
PRN RNs must work a minimum of six shifts per month if offered which may be involve either 8 or 12 hour shifts as needed.
Flexible shifts are available. Must provide own reliable transportation and car insurance.
