CHA Everett Hospital is a busy community hospital, offering inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital operates 112-beds and provides intensive care, telemetry, mental health, and medical-surgical services. CHA Everett Hospital has a two (2) room OR and one (1) endoscopy room. A 24-hour emergency service is also on site. Outpatient care at this campus includes surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, specialty care, primary care, and behavioral/mental health programs.
West 1 is a 25 bed Medical/Surgical and Telemetry Unit caring for patients with general and complex medical and surgical needs, often serving those with serious health issues. The skilled and compassionate nursing staff take care of approximately 20 patients each day along with an expert Hospitalist Team.
The role of a Registered Nurse is to comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients. The qualified RN will provide quality care to our patients on an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit. In this fast paced environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care as well as communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively. Implementing core measures as indicated. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population.
Qualifications/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN Licensure. Minimum of 2 years medical/surgical RN nursing experience required. 1 year telemetry experience preferred. Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips preferred. All newly hire RNs are required to have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or within one year from date of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
