The purpose of this job is to provide secretarial support by providing a variety of communications support, involving developing correspondence, presentations, formatting publications, proofreading documents, and coordinating a variety of special events, projects, and meetings.


  • Enters charges for PT, OT, ST, and NRC departments into Net Access system
  • Orders all supplies, equipment, and services for Acute, BIAC, and NRC. Handles all requests for petty cash, checks, travel, and account payable invoices
  • Maintains organization of personnel information and files; keeps list of employees names, addresses, phone numbers, licensure/certification dates (CPR, TB, mandatory training, etc)
  • Assists Therapy Director as needed 
  • Routine tasks of typing, faxing, filing, copying, mailing, and memos are accomplished as requested by the director


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Computer/word processing skills

Education, Experience, Licensure

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Typing at 60-65 wpm; able to take dictation, excellent customer service skills
  • Three years' secretarial experience


  • Healthcare experience
