Job Description

  • Position Summary
    • This is a professionalposition responsible for all aspects of Payroll Tax compliance and Payrollrelated General Ledger accounts for the MaineHealth Shared Servicesorganization.  This position serves asthe in-house resource for all Payroll Tax matters providing guidance to theentities and department personnel.  Thisposition will assume decision-making responsibilities in the absence of thePayroll Supervisor regarding Payroll related issues and reports to the PayrollManager.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • 3 - 5 years of overall Payroll experience with a minimum of 3 years of concentration in Payroll Operations including but not limited to: Taxation of Foreign Nationals, Payroll General Ledger, Accounting, multi-state large organizations and Payroll Taxes.
    • College degree or equivalent experience
    • Professional certifications preferred
    • Preferred experience with Lawson, Kronos, One Staff, BSI, or Windstar
