Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician will perform various duties in the cleaning, organizing, wrapping and sterilizing of instruments and supplies used in surgery and other departments throughout the facility. Instruments will be processed in a timely manner and returned to the appropriate departments. They must be accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization.

The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required. High School graduate or equivalent preferred
BLS certification preferred
Certification from an accredited Central Supply Technician training program or within
2 years of hire
Previous experience in surgery or sterile processing preferred
