Job Summary::

The Vice President of Clinical Services will report to the President/CEO and will oversee and direct clinical operations and strategy for the company. We are looking for an experienced clinical leader focused on quality and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients, their families, and our staff.


* Responsible for the overall direction and operation of clinical systems, strategy, and initiatives emphasizing the company’s commitment to quality improvement
* Oversee development, maintenance, and review of all policies and procedures involving clinical operations
* Review survey reports and assist in implementation of correction action and responses
* Monitor and report on key areas of clinical performance to assure clinical excellence
* Monitor regulatory changes and updates and lead implementation efforts
* Serve as lead in transition to PDPM
* Identify, plan and develop clinical programs and clinical pathways supporting the mission of Accura
* Serve as Clinical representative on Compliance Committee
* Attend conferences, meetings, seminars and serve as clinical subject matter expert, occasionally requiring presentations and speaking engagements
* Frequent travel may be required, occasionally overnight

* Registered Nurse license required
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical leadership role with a multi-facility long-term/post-acute care organization
* Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations
* Proficiency in CMS reimbursement models
* Outstanding communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organization and time management skills
* Ability to work independently with little direction and with a team
* Ability to strategically drive results while promoting Accura’s values and mission
* Must possess a valid state drivers’ license
* Excellent customer service skills with a desire to build and nurture relationships
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new applications
* A professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor
