Transcribes, coordinates and maintains pathology reports in conjunction with associated secretarial and quality assurance functions. Works with minimal supervision and is involved with coordination of workflow and instruction of other employees. This is a full time position which may require flexibility of hours and is eligible for overtime pay.
Pathology transcription experience preferred.
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from High School, medical secretarial courses at junior college or trade school level; and three years of office experience.
Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9 coding.
