The Patient Service Representative acts as a Medical Office Receptionist and is responsible for the following duties:

Greets and directs parents/patients, answers telephone, schedules appointments, makes appointment reminder calls, collects demographic and insurance information and enters into the computer system. Also collects co-pays, posts charges, and maintains patient confidentiality. Must follow all department protocols, as well as all company and office policies and procedures. The schedule for this position is three days a week and a Saturday morning rotation, hours are approximately 22-25 per week.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience includes prior medical office experience or customer service experience.
  • Required skills include: Patient/customer service, professionalism, computer proficiency, telephonic skills, the ability to multi-task, be organized and focused, as well as be a dependable team player. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
