Nursing Supervisor Role and Responsibilities
The Nurse Supervisor, as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Weight Control Centers (WCC), will be responsible to oversee four separate clinics (Royal Oak, Rochester Hills, St Clair Shores, Canton), including traveling and allocating appropriate time within each location. She/he will be required to assess the clinical needs of each, however, incorporate processes to be utilized at all sites to ensure quality of care and patient-centered care. She/he will work with other team members, including physician leadership, operational leadership, discipline supervisors, surgical quality team and bariatric surgeons to optimize bariatric surgery and assure all Accreditations are maintained. The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for appropriate staffing allocation and be able to provide direct patient care to WCC patients. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: program development and special projects, staff recruitment and retention, process improvements, data collection and research, marketing and community outreach projects, education of staff members as well as educational activities involving medical students and residents.
Recommend experience in supervisor role, however, candidates will be reviewed for their overall RN experience.
