Provides nursing assessments and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Ensures medical concerns are addressed and documented. Assists in planning, linking, advocacy, coordination and monitoring health and psychiatric services.
Associates Degree from an accredited nursing education program.
One to two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must possess excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously, and work independently.
Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Registered Nurse. Must have reliable means of transportation for home visits and maintain safe driving record.
