We are searching for a Sr. Clinical Project Manager to perform a variety of under the direction of the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) or designee. Will support the specified areas of Southcoast Physician Group, facilitate targeted technology, and practice optimization projects. The Sr. Clinical Project Manager will provide insights into designing a portfolio of projects to meet the objectives of the SPG Administration. The role facilitates execution including development and coordination, for projects in the portfolio plan and coordination of multi-disciplinary medical specialty teams that will be involved in defining requirements for the technology and optimization work, as assigned by the CMIO or designee.  Will also provide functional and clinical guidance to other employees in the same or related classifications where supervisory responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc. Responsible to provide project development and staff direction as it relates to assigned projects.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business related discipline is required.
  • Clinical experience is required, and familiarity with Family Medicine, Primary Care, and/or Medical Specialty practice workflow is highly desired.
  • An MBA or Master’s Degree in a Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math discipline is required
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project is required.
  • Well organized and able to work on own initiative. Strong strategic planning, problem resolution and analytical skills.
  • Solid financial skills, including business case development are required.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, sometimes requiring managing and leading without authority as needed is required.
  • Experience planning, organizing, managing and communicating progress of multiple tasks are required.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively to leadership and across functional groups.
  • Proficient in Project Management skills and methodologies inclusive of Scope Development, Scheduling, Cost & Budget Management, Quality Management, and Risk Management are required.
