The Clinical Systems Educator / Support Analysts promotes, educates, facilitates and otherwise supports the medical staff of DCH's Hospital-based and Ambulatory-based systems in the use of health information technology and Electronic Medical Records. This position will play an integral part in the continuing support and education of physician end-users utilizing clinical applications such as Provider Order Management (POM) and Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) in DCH's Meditech Hospital Information System (HIS) and in DCH's ambulatory setting where the e-ClinicalWorks Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is used.
Requirements:1 – 3 years' experience in IT education, support, or related field. 1 – 3 years' experience in IT education, support, or related field. Bachelor's degree is strongly desired, preferably in computer science, health profession, and/or Education. Consideration will be given to a combination of education and related work experience and/or clinical certification(s) in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Ability to perform program and system testing. E-ClinicalWorks EMR certification is required (and can be / will be provided, if lacking). Experience in a hospital and/or ambulatory care setting preferred.Experience using Word and Excel is highly desirable. Meditech software experience is a plus, especially version 6.0 or later. Minimum typing skills of 40 words per minute are required. DCH's ambulatory setting where the e-ClinicalWorks Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is used.
