Primary duty is to accurately schedule for physician consults and/or outpatient procedures following defined scheduling protocols. Communicates with physician offices, patients, nursing units and ancillary departments regarding scheduling procedures, appointments and coordination of tests. Conducts professional patient interviews, to include obtaining medical history, demographics, and financial information.
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Medical terminology preferred.
Prefer one year experience in healthcare setting, call center, or clerical position, including experience using Microsoft Office applications. Requires a minimum of two years customer service experience. Must have good verbal and communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate general computer skills. Must have excellent verbal
and written communication skills.
