The Practice Coordinator oversees and facilitates the daily operations of multiple physician practice with the commitment of providing excellent customer service to patients, families and visitors. Plans and organizes the work of support staff, coordinates and prioritizes work flow, implements appropriate systems and procedures to maintain service standards and acts as a resource to clinicians and staff.
Additionally, the Practice Coordinator will:
-Attend regular meetings with the Area Practice Manager and Practice Coordinators to review targets for success and opportunity.
-Develops efficient methods for patient and provider scheduling to maximize access and flow, ensuring patient and provider satisfaction, and to meet established productivity targets.
-Review provider schedules for potential conflicts, including acute slots, and coordinates required adjustments in cooperation with provider and clinical staff.
-Ensure schedules are complete and accurate each day to include all documents are drafted and patients departed from schedule.
-Ensure accurate collection of patient data, including demographics and billing information.
-Ensure the completion of daily close reports, cash drawers, and deposits.
-Coordinate with billing office to resolve issues, denials and patient concerns.
-Provide regular revenue cycle and volume reports to Area Practice Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.
High School diploma or GED required. Associate's degree preferred.
3-5 years related work experience required.
