Food Service Associate II (Diet Clerk, Ambassador, Cashier)Shift: PRNWeekend/Holiday:
Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
This position will be scheduled in the Food & Nutrition Services department at the Christ Hospital main campus located at 2139 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.Job Overview:
Responsible for performing entry level job functions relative to patient meal service, cafeteria, catering, food preparation, and sanitation.The Food Service Associate II may perform the following duties:
Obtain meal orders from patients and visitors via telephone or in person.
Enters meal orders into the C-bord diet office management system for menu processing.
Assesses patient’s ability to utilize room service.
Operates cash register with speed and accuracy.
Takes cash register readings at all appropriate times during the shift.
Attends meeting as required to enhance knowledge, job skills, and communications within the department.
Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or needed. May assist in other areas as relief.
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:
2 years of customer and food service experience.Internal Career Path:
1 Year experience as Food Service Associate 1. Must be able to perform and meet competencies for tray line, sanitation and retail positions. Documented 80 hours c-bord training. Documented 40 hours of cash handling training. Documented 40 hours customer service training.
