Provides clinical social work services or psychosocial assessments to patients/residents and families, regarding the following common problems: adjustment to instituitional living, financial concerns, family relationships, difficulty understanding/accepting medical/diagnoses/procedures/treatments, changes relating to aging, powerlessness, discharge planning and counseling related to death and dying.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW). Master's degree preferred. One to three (1-3) years of experience. Licensed Master Social Worker license - LMSW; Licensed Certified Social Worker - LCSW preferred. Microsoft Office Suite; Electronic Medical Records; Standard office equipment.
